Our craftsmanship 

We make all our delft blue Christmas decorations in our own workshop. Dutchceramics (Montagne Aardewerkfabriek BV) was founded in Gouda in 1950, with its roots in the heyday of the well-known Gouda Pottery. Our family business is now owned by the 3rd generation of Montagne.  That means short lines and fast delivery, because we have our own specialists for making molds, pottery biscuits, firing and glazing and decorating, The process is labor-intensive - sometimes it takes a while for a piece to be ready. But that is exactly what makes our Delft blue so special. Our craftsmen still work according to traditional methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. You can see that in the refined details and the high-quality finish of each piece.
