Tall ceramic amphora vase

Another large piece of art from dutchceramis with a Japanese and Dutch delftblue fusion, here on a tall ceramic amphora vase. As we have almost forgotten, delftware once was meant as an imitation of imported, thus very expensive Asian porcelain (in the late 16th and 17th century). And so gradually became a style of its own. Now at Dutchceramics  we bring back some of its Asian roots in our delftware in Holland. The frontside shows a womansface and there is afull floral design at the back in buddha style. The ceramic amphora vase is 46 cms in height.
